Global Engineering Services (GES)
Global Engineering Services is the key largescale engineering, productivity, new growth initiative and process standardization enabler for HPS and outside HPS. With the largest skilled engineering pool available to PAS, LSS, HCP and Cyber and ready to expand to other GBEs, GES helps win GMPs and executes them, does design, engineer and execute all the other PAS, LSS, HCI and Cyber projects based out of major engineering centers at India, China, Bucharest and Uzbekistan, helps all the LOBs to carry out engineering and process standardization to improve the engineering quality and productivity and also supports all the LOBs in supporting migrations and long-term service contracts.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Honeywell Forge Inspection Rounds (HFIR) Lead will be responsible for design, lead and execute HFIR solutions implementation for the Refining, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Power and Mining Industries
Key Responsibilities
Lead/Support the technical delivery of the project right from design to closure.
Create/Support Design documents- FDS, DDS, test procedures and training manuals.
Lead customer meetings including KOM, design workshops, trainings, and testing.
Track and manage progress as per schedule. Report progress to all stakeholders on regular basis.
Design and build software applications, SSRS reports and Database scripts for HFIR use cases.
Thorough understanding of Open-Source technology, Microservices and Containerization.
Manage customer expectation and ensure delivery within budget and timelines.
Plan the engineering activities and ensure progress as per plan.
Address customer issues on time by escalating to the right internal stakeholders
Follow the Company defined standard practices and methods
YOU MUST HAVE
7-10 years’ experience in designing and implementing software solutions using open source and Microsoft technology
Excellent understanding and knowledge of the software development using C#.
Able to build software tools using Visual Studio.
Good understanding of SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, SSRS Reporting and Database Concepts.
Experience in REST API, HTTP, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, Docker, Networking.
Working experience of integration with other systems using OPC, OLEDB, ODBC and web services etc.
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications and related programmability.
