Position Overview
The Digital Workplace Team, part of Enterprise Systems & Experience (ESE), has an open position for a well-qualified Software QA Engineer.
At Autodesk, the Digital Workplace team is known for its energetic and invigorating culture, built around hiring smart people eager to collaborate and deliver high quality products. Our core product is a cloud-based service that enables our Enterprise Business Accounts to login and launch an Autodesk product in 5 minutes. Data and compute capability (Autodesk applications) in the cloud address major pain points for customers, providing significant enterprise and project benefits.

Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for developing and executing high quality test plans to deliver an amazing user experience
Isolate and log detailed defects in Jira for tracking and reporting; work with Agile Team to prioritize and identify risk
Develop, execute and optimize test strategies that have the highest ROI
Perform functional testing (GUI and data), regression testing, ongoing system integration and periodic build verification (smoke) tests as part of each product release cycle
Provide guidance on best test methods for cloud based and web applications
Validate the behavior of software on a variety of Browser and Operating systems
Work with within an agile team on improving quality assurance processes and be an ambassador for quality
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of work related professional experience in quality assurance, with manual and automation testing
Knowledge of software test concepts, practices, and procedures
Working experience with automation framework such as Selenium, Cypress or any other test automation framework suited for web & cloud applications
Ability to perform root cause analysis of defects in complex software components and services
Basic programming skills to write and debug automated test
Excellent time-management skills, adaptability, and ability to prioritize tasks
Excellent communication skills required
Laser focused on customer satisfaction
Degree in computer sciences, software engineering or related field is an asset
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of Film/TV/Games production/postproduction pipelines
Familiar with Windows, Linux and MacOS
Familiar with development tools like Jira, Github, Jenkins
Working experience in JS, Python or other modern programming language
Experience with large-scale software deployments
