We're seeking a career-minded QA Intern to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate and learn from professionals in a wide range of vocations, including software design and development, electrical and mechanical engineering, distribution and logistics, project management, sales and marketing, etc. You'll contribute to applications that interface with cutting-edge electrical products in both residential and industrial markets. This is a 3-month internship with the potential to convert to a full-time position with benefits.

Responsibilities/Duties:

· Test Execution: Perform manual testing of software applications, including automation, functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.

· Test Planning: Develop, document, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and user stories.

· Defect Identification: Identify, document, and track defects, inconsistencies, and issues found during testing using defect tracking tools. Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.

· Requirement Analysis: Review and analyze software requirements, user stories, and design documents to create relevant test scenarios and ensure thorough test coverage.

· Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand the functionality of features and provide feedback on the overall quality of the software.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of test results, including test case execution status, defect reports, and test summary reports.

· Analytics: Regularly monitor analytics and reporting software to proactively address negative user experience and drive improvement.

Required Education/Experience:

· QA experience preferred but not required.

· Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

· Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle, and testing methodologies.

· Familiarity with QA tools (e.g., Cypress, Jira, TestPad), and coding experience is a plus.
