Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient Software Quality Engineering Leader to drive quality assurance and continuous improvement across our software R&D initiatives. This role requires a strong background in software testing, automation, and quality strategy, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence product development from concept to release. � Key Responsibilities: Quality Strategy & Leadership o Define and execute the overall quality engineering strategy aligned with R&D goals. o Champion a culture of quality across engineering, product, and design teams. o Establish and monitor KPIs for software quality and test effectiveness. Team Management o Lead, mentor, and grow a team of quality engineers and SDETs. o Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and inclusive team environment. Process & Automation Public o Drive the adoption of modern testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation. o Ensure comprehensive test coverage across unit, integration, system, and performance levels. o Implement risk-based testing and shift-left practices. Collaboration & Communication o Partner with engineering, product management, and Design/Architecture to ensure quality is embedded early. o Provide clear reporting on quality metrics, risks, and release readiness. o Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. � � Preferred Qualifications: Experience in electrical calculation standards (IEC, NEC) Familiarity with AI/ML model validation and testing. Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent. Hands-on experience with performance and security testing tools. � � � Success Metrics: Reduction in escaped defects and time-to-resolution. Increased test automation coverage and execution speed. Improved release confidence and customer satisfaction. Team engagement and retention.
