Competency
• Software Development Process / Q-Assurance for embedded systems and software
• Experience in Quality Review / Gate review Process, Audit
• General automotive standards (IATF 16+4+, ASPICE, VDA 6.3…)
• Knowledge of quality methods and tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, 8D…)
• Knowledge on Change / configuration management, Risk Management, Project Management
• Communication and documentation skills
• Software, electronic & mechanical component development or complaint handing experience.
• Working experience with automotive OEMs
• MS Office tools, Intercultural know-how etc.
Area Of Responsibility/Task
• Development and maintenance of the SW Quality Plan
• Controlling of SW specific quality actions according SW Quality Plan and identification and tracking of quality related findings, before they affect the external customer (e.g quality resource planning, Robust Design methods deployment, resolution of noncompliance issues, etc.)
• Quality reporting and monitoring of corrective actions in accordance with project team stipulation.
• Pursuing that lessons learned are used and collected by participation at all Milestone Reviews, Objects Reviews to assure the lessons learned process works properly
• Moderation of milestone reviews and selected object reviews
• Inform immediately BU quality line management in case of functional safety issues
• Pursuing (i.e. tracking, requesting, supporting, provision of methodologies), the adherence of the FSW project to the applicable processes, method descriptions by adequate means (e.g. audit, process adherence checks, etc.)
• Interfere with customer regarding QA topics such as audits, follow up of improvement actions
• Approve the Aggregate / SW releases by supervising, that the requirements fixed in the FSW Quality Plan are fulfilled
• Active support of FSW PM in all quality related, legal and safety relevant aspects during the development & launch process as described in the corresponding development procedure
• Assure Risk Management process is initiated and appropriately driven
