Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a BAU Support Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our clients, as well as contributing to the development and maintenance of our existing applications and systems.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to our clients, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
Application Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our existing applications and systems, including code fixes, updates, and enhancements.
System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they impact users.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of support processes, procedures, and resolutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations.
Release Management: Support the deployment of application updates and patches.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve support processes and system stability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6-7 years of experience in a support or maintenance development role.
Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in at least one or more of the following: Java, Python, C#, or similar.
Database Skills: Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in SQL.
Operating Systems: Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Incident Management Tools: Experience with incident management systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions.
Monitoring Tools: Experience with application monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics).
Scripting: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.
