As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will participate either within the core SRE team or act as a partner to an existing feature team.
You will advocate and act as a subject matter expert for Philipu2026s infrastructure within your product area using communication to manage a variety of global initiatives.

You are a part of
The Site Reliability Engineering team, a group of resiliency focused engineers who not only care about the wholistic system and work to optimize performance but also ensure stability across our entire platform of services.
u00A0 This team extends our current DevOps competency and works in conjunction with the Engineering group to support and maintain our distributed cloud based Microservice application.
The SRE team is an integral part of ensuring that our applications are resilient as well as performant to keep our customers satisfied.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 7+ yearsu2026 experience in a technical software role dealing with complex enterprise software landscapes (DevOps focused development)
u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Experience with programming or scripting language, such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, JavaScript, or Go
u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Experience with best-in-class application monitoring (APM) tooling (New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics)

Production deployments are typically, but can vary, Mondays 3pm EST, Thursday 10pm EST, and Wednesday 8am EST. In addition to production deployments, there could be release candidate deployments that are needed not during standard business hours to unblock testing and hold to the release schedule u2013 this is typically rare.
Comp time is defined and will be given based on those definitions and manager discretion.
