Job Title: Software Tester
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled software tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests on software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements. The software tester will work closely with developers and project managers to identify and report defects and to ensure that the software is ready for release.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications.
• Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve them.
• Collaborate with project managers and developers to understand and prioritize testing requirements.
• Work with software engineers to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Conduct regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide feedback to development teams on software quality and performance.
• Ensure that testing processes and methodologies are followed.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Preferred Qualifications:
• ISTQB certification
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with software development tools and processes
• Experience with test automation frameworks
