Experience Required: 2-4 Years || Educational Qualification: Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree || Location: Ahmedabad (Work from Office)
Roles and Responsibility:
• Understand client requirements & functional specifications
• Identify test automation scope and prepare test plan accordingly
• Develop test automation scripts and respective configurations
• Participate in walk-through of testing procedures
• Prepare all reports related to software testing carried out
• Ensure testing is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures
• Collaborate with other team members
• Must be agile in his approach and ready to take up new challenges
• Sound knowledge about quality bug reporting
• Work closely with the development team to get things done
Skills Required (Primary) :
• Good understanding of Automation testing concepts and workflows
• Should have knowledge about Selenium Web driver and/or other test automation tools
• Strong knowledge about Java and OOPS concepts
• Test automation experience with Java / JavaScript / Cucumber / REST Assured API would be required
• Mobile Application Test Automation experience using Appium
• Designing and writing test automation scripts using test automation frameworks
• Ability to work with the team of QA analysts and software developers to find out solutions
• Working knowledge of any version control system (e.g. SVN, GitHub, Bitbucket)
• Strong knowledge of Software Build Automation tools (e.g. Maven, Gradle)
• Responsible for ensuring the end-to-end testing methodology including all appropriate documentation and requirements.
• Ensure test results are accurate, thorough, and appropriately documented
• Should have the ability to proactively comprehend problems and resolve them with minimal supervision
• Experience with functional testing will be an add-on
Skills Required (Secondary):
• Good organizational and problem understanding skills
• Exposure to any alternate testing method/type
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to express work fluently and convince stack holders
• Exposure to Performance testing
