Job Description
Manage the testing effort and/or team to plan, construct and execute release tests.Apply testing methodologies, theories and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution. Apply business and functional knowledge to meet the teams' overall test purposes.
Main responsibilities include:
Researching, consulting, accessing and evaluating system program needsIdentifying limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, test procedures and methodsTesting, help diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specificationWriting and maintaining automation to meet system test requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standardsScripting and maintaining Test Plan and approach, end user documentation and operational proceduresProviding guidance/Upskill team based on expertise and help with proposals etc.Ensuring all defects are entered correctly and controlled / managed as effectively as possible through their lifecycle. Maintaining absolute integrity of the defect database and ensuring a full audit trail for any changes made to defect status outside of the published defect process.
Skill set:
Minimum 5+ Years of experience as Tester / Sr. Tester / Test Lead.Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels within the company, plus good presentation skills.Good working knowledge of software development & testing lifecycle.Demonstrate experience of working in high pressure environments in previous roles.Good practical knowledge of Jira, Confluence and MS Office tools

Demonstrable progress chasing and trackingTime management and prioritization skillsA degree level qualification or equivalent experienceExperience of Jira / Confluence is preferred.
Salary : As per industry standard.
