Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications
Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
Conduct functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure software quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements and technical specifications
Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks to improve testing efficiency
Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance testing strategies
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or in a similar testing role
Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
