Our company is looking for a functional tester in Trade Finance department of Banks
Responsibilities
• Analyze requirements and test software solutions using agile methodology
• Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data
• Develop, update and maintain test cases and plans.
• Communicate effectively with Leads, Managers and Stakeholders. Attend all agile meetings (scrum, backlog sprint planning)
• Follow standard testing methodology frameworks, testing processes as a standard
• Co-ordinate testing specific release activities
• Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) pate in structured walk-through and peer reviews
• Participate in the coordination and execution of release testing
• Participate in Lessons Learned as appropriate
• Identify defects and questionable functionality; manage defects through to closure
• Resolve issues with unclear requirements and achieve a successful result
• Triage and solve complex problems using structured troubleshooting methodologies
• Work independently as well as work collaboratively in a team environment
Skills
Must have
• Strong organizational skills including good time management, prioritizing tasks, estimating activities, and meeting deadlines
• Must be able to multi-task and work independently or in a team
• Testing the infrastructure components as opposed to application testing
• Making sure Operating systems are healthy and firewalls working correctly but also allowing
• Test Design creatiion, update
• Participate in analytical meetings in order to decompose business needs to functional requirements, estimate them and compose acceptance criteria
• Review of test scripts written by your colleagues
• Manual test execution of scripts designed by you or your colleagues
Nice to have
• Experience in Unix and any programming language is a plus
• Experience in Jira and Confluence applications is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
