Job Description
A skilled Manual Tester is required to lead a critical project in the Retail banking domain. The ideal candidate will have experience in test execution, logging results, and assisting in defect classification and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute tests according to test cases.
• Log test execution results.
• Assist in defect classification and reporting.
• Create unit-level and functional-level test cases.
• Provide data needed for status reports.
• Update daily activities in Daily Status Report to communicate correct testing status for the day.
Technical Skills:
• Conversant with Retail Banking domain.
• Knowledge in SQL.
• Experience in automation is an added advantage.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience as test engineer for B.Sc. / BCA /B.Com./BBA.
• B.E./B.TECH in any stream/ MCA/ M.Sc. (IT) Plus 1 (One) Year of experience as test Engineer OR B.Sc. / BCA /B.Com./BBA/ + 2 years similar work experience after passing the degree from any recognized College/University duly approved by AICTE.
• Should have passed/ Should clear ITSQB Foundation Level within three months of joining or its equivalent.
Behavioral Skills:
• Analyzing and understanding requirements.
• Communicating with clients.
• Reviewing test cases according to different testing methodologies.
• Resolving technical issues and exploring alternative designs.
• Participating as a team member and fostering teamwork through inter-group coordination within project modules.
• Effectively collaborating and communicating with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
• Training and coaching project group members to ensure effective knowledge management activity
