Job Description: Solar Residential Team Coordinator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Solar Residential Team Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the activities of our residential solar team. You will work closely with project managers, technicians, and other team members to ensure efficient project execution and exceptional customer service. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will be vital in managing schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
Responsibilities:
Team Coordination:
Coordinate and schedule the activities of the residential solar team, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Serve as a central point of contact for team members, facilitating communication and information exchange.
Monitor team progress and provide regular updates to project managers.
Project Support:
Assist project managers in preparing project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Track project timelines and deliverables, identifying and resolving any issues or delays.
Customer Service:
Communicate with residential customers to schedule installations, answer inquiries, and address concerns.
Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and helpful attitude.
Ensure that customer inquiries and complaints are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Quality Assurance:
Assist in ensuring that solar installations meet industry standards and quality requirements.
Coordinate and schedule inspections and audits to verify compliance with design and safety guidelines.
Support the implementation of corrective actions to address any issues or non-compliance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training is a plus.
Proven experience in coordinating and supporting teams in a project-based environment.
Familiarity with residential solar energy systems and basic knowledge of installation processes.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in using project management software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices is desirable but not mandatory.
