Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Solar Technician to join our team to assist in the installation of solar panels and related equipment for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar systems, ensuring that they operate at maximum efficiency. This position requires a thorough understanding of solar panel installation, electrical wiring, and mechanical systems. Candidates with ITI, MCVC, or Diploma in Polytechnic and up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install solar panels, inverters, and other solar-related equipment at residential and commercial sites
• Perform site surveys to assess the feasibility of solar panel installation
• Conduct testing of installed solar systems to ensure they are operating at peak efficiency
• Troubleshoot and repair solar systems, including electrical and mechanical components
• Maintain accurate records of installed systems and service visits
• Provide excellent customer service and communication to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
• ITI, MCVC, or Diploma in Polytechnic in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Freshers or up to 1 year of experience in solar panel installation, maintenance, and repair
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical wiring and mechanical systems
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments and at heights
