The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be a hybrid position, working out of our sites in Reading or Leatherhead.
Your future duties and responsibilities
We are looking for a Solution Architect to support the Business Development team in identifying, assessing, and responding to Logistics opportunities in Defence. Prior experience designing, developing, deploying, or assessing systems in Defence will be advantageous. Experience within the Logistics domain is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Business Development Team to evaluate opportunities by reviewing detailed documentation and engaging directly with clients during events like supplier days.
• Produce high-level design artefacts and, when necessary, documentation such as HLDs/LLDs to communicate architectural vision to clients.
• Liaise with colleagues across the business to ensure quality and consistency of approach for solutions.

• Technical Documentation
• Infrastructure Engineering
• Experience with enterprise systems
• Strong problem-solving skills with the willingness to challenge and/or suggest alternative solutions
Desirable
• General Defence estate knowledge
