As a Solution Architect at the University of Technology Sydney, you will play a key role in designing and delivering effective technology solutions that align with the university's strategic goals and enterprise architecture framework.

This is a key position within the IT Unit. The Solution Architect will work closely with people across the university to build a compelling technology vision, a clear pathway to get there, and shape the solutions to make it real.
About the Role
The architectural landscape at UTS is broad, complex, and quickly evolving. Solution Architects will typically be aligned to particular business-focused or architecture-focused domains (e.g., business, information, data, integration, infrastructure, cloud, security etc).
Key Responsibilities
Designing and delivering effective technology solutions that align with UTS' strategic goals and enterprise architecture framework
Working closely with people across the university to build a compelling technology vision, a clear pathway to get there, and shape the solutions to make it real
Collaborating with product and platform teams to ensure solutions are successfully delivered
Requirements
An understanding of tertiary education, including the student lifecycle and associated compliance activities
Proven experience working as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or in a similar role, preferably in a large and complex organization
Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), modelling techniques, and solution design methodologies
Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe, or similar are desirable
