Solution Architect Job Description This person will lead the pre-sales process from a functional perspective.
Gather business requirements from prospects, respond to RFI and RFP
Prepare solution design / architecture and proposal highlighting business benefits
Client facing skills communication (both written and verbal) should be outstanding
Work with Services organization to draw up the initial project costing for implementation, Customization and roll out services
Will carry a sales quota
Skills & Experience Total Work Experience Of 10 Years
Should have worked in Retail or Distribution industry for at least 3 to 5 years or should have worked with leading retail companies on projects such as Software Package selection and Implementation (Merchandising Systems, POS etc.), or worked with business users ( Operations, Merchandisers, Retail Store users) and created Job instructions/ functional requirements
Should have a strong understanding of Retail business practices, processes and improvement areas. (Preferably International Retail business exposure)
At least one full life cycle ERP / Supply Chain Management implementation experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Exposure to BI and analytics is valuable,
Capable of presenting and communicating business benefits to senior members of customer companies.
Should have a minimum of bachelors degree
Proven ability to listen to prospects and design solutions that can deliver business benefits
Experience In Solution Architect (Presales Consulting) Preferred
Base Location: Mumbai, India
