Responsibilities
In this role, you will help drive and support Bridgestone’s technological transformation in line with Industry 4.0, focusing on Connected Factory and Connected Products by working in close collaboration across Manufacturing, Product Development, and QA under the new West organization to build partnerships and alignment, implement new application initiatives/projects, and improve user experiences
Developing and proposing innovative and cost-effective solutions that leverage the latest technologies, such as IoT, automation, analytics, and cloud computing, to optimize tire design, production, testing, and supply chain operations
Collaborating with various stakeholders, such as business analysts, engineers, developers, vendors, and executives, to ensure alignment and integration of the proposed solutions with the existing systems and infrastructure
Overseeing the implementation, testing, and deployment of the solutions and providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
Evaluating the performance and impact of the solutions, and recommending improvements or enhancements as needed
Communicate and present to users/stakeholders at various levels within an organization and across the globe
Provide subject matter expertise by being up to date on industry trends of IIoT, Industry 4.0, and Smart Manufacturing
Identify alternative architectural approaches and formulate recommendations based on economic analysis and business requirements
Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously without disruption in deliverables

Position Summary

We are seeking a Solution Architect like you to join our Computer Integrated Manufacturing team.
