As Cloud Platform Architect you will work in environments with wide and diverse range of technologies, solutions supporting Digital Brand Presence on different platforms, needs and requirements.
The position requires a strong emphasis on designing technical solution and presentation skills of Cloud technologies including MS Azure as main cloud and others like AWS and/or GCP, Kubernetes and scripting and Infrastructure as a Code (IaC), and, in addition, understand of basic concepts of Networking, VPN, DNS, NAT, Security and Web hosting mindset.
Our new architect is empowered to work directly with Nestlé’s suppliers as well as internal Architecture & Integration team and Operations staff. As the company´s internal Service provider we can offer hybrid solutions encompassing public clouds, private clouds, colocation services, content delivery networks, block-based cloud storage, web application firewall, etc. to our markets. Our team of experts is expected to be leaders in the field of Cloud Computing, Data Center technologies and Internet technologies. We are building a reputation within the industry as the visionaries in digital and social.
Key responsibilities
Act in a consultative role for the Nestlé markets and work directly with market’s technical counterparts to identify specific requirements and design custom solutions within the IT Service Offering Portfolio to meet functional requirements
Drive and focus the Cloud backlog together with the Cloud Product Owner, based on priorities
Mainly Microsoft Azure Compute, Storage and Networking and new features been develop by Microsoft
Lead cloud modernization projects, ensuring seamless transition of applications and services to the cloud.
Conduct compliance activities across the Global Cloud Teams adhering with industry standards and internal policies, ISMS Internal and External Audit.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy secure cloud solutions.
Monitor cloud environments for security vulnerabilities and implement necessary remediation measures.
Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, processes, and security protocols.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders regarding cloud technologies.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
Required Profile
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in architecture for large scale digital channels, working with ITOps, IT Operations, Managed Hosting or Cloud Computing required
At least 3 years of demonstrable experience with cloud architecture - especially Azure, AWS and/or GCP - (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS) with focus on scalability, security, and integration challenges
Devops and agile principles work environment experience
Experience with public and private cloud technologies, dedicated and multi-tenancy environments
Experience in architecting Hosting infrastructure to include Enterprise Networking, Servers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, IP Connectivity and SAN Storage
Computing experience in Azure/GCP and/or AWS in terms of configuration, sizing, performance etc. Cloud certifications highly desirable
PaaS, Docker, Kubernetes and Serverless experience
Strong understanding of security aspects of hosting infrastructure and web, eCommerce, B2E/B2B/B2C, social and mobile applications
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Ability to write and defend technical business proposals
Confident sales presence, refined sales acumen, and the ability to exert influence appropriately
Self-reliant and takes initiative to get things done without having to rely on others for minimal guidance
