Solution Architect Mainframe Oracle and CCB
Long Term Contract
Toronto ON – Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end solution architecture for replacing legacy mainframe systems with Oracle Utilities CC&B.
Define target-state architecture across application, data, integration, security, and infrastructure domains.
Lead solution design for Oracle CC&B configuration and customization, ensuring best practices and long-term maintainability.
Translate utility business processes including customer care, billing, meter-to-cash, payments, collections, and regulatory reporting into scalable CC&B solutions.
Design integration architecture between CC&B and related utility systems such as Customer Portals, CCAAS systems, work management, financial systems, and analytics platforms.
Define data migration, cleansing, reconciliation, and cutover strategies from legacy mainframe systems.
Act as architectural authority across the program, reviewing and approving solution designs and technical deliverables.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, system integrators, and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
Identify architectural risks and drive mitigation strategies throughout the program lifecycle.
Required Qualifications and Experience
10 or more years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture roles, preferably within the utilities or energy sector.
Proven hands-on implementation experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.
Demonstrated experience leading mainframe modernization or replacement initiatives.
Strong understanding of regulated utility business processes, particularly meter-to-cash.
Strong understanding of deregulated utility market and distribution processes Deep technical knowledge of Oracle Utilities CC&B architecture, Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), batch processing, and integrations.
Experience with legacy mainframe technologies and migration approaches.
Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, data migration strategies, security, and performance optimization.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $80.00-$85.00 per hour
