Role And Responsibilities
As Solution Architect, he will be required to work with the customer (both IT & Business) to understand the customer landscape, analyzing business requirements, document the use cases around these requirements and design the solution intended to address complex customer business processes
Work with the team to get the solution developed and provide them with support & guidance as needed while overseeing their work deliverables being produced
Drive Development of application/CRs using Core/Advanced Java & help in high level design
Conduct review of the code developed & documents created as part of Solution Development
Check for their completion & accuracy before they getting deployed
Work with the customer to outline a validation strategy, prepare a validation plan and assist them in validating the solution build & deployed through means of Conference Room Pilots/User Acceptance Testing.
Gap Analysis Document listing the items not covered by the software OOTB and recommended possible solutions for satisfying the business requirement
Undertake travel at customer location as and when required
Accountability
Buildup knowledge in assigned areas and system understanding
Will have to co-ordinate and communicate directly with client/Business users as per the job requirements
Customer support for issue resolution.
Ensure on time delivery & quality of projects & change requests.
Training and mentoring the team for Windchill Development
Minimum Educational Qualification Required: Graduate - BE/B.Sc./MCA (Science/Engg. Graduate)
Minimum Experience Required : 11 - 12 years
Technical Skills
People management and experience with agile teams
Experience with Windchill 10/11/12 PLM
Experience working on CAD Data Management in Windchill with different non-PTC CAD software
Sound understanding of latest Windchill architecture, features, application interface framework including CAD interfaces
Strong in Java, Advanced Java and Windchill Solution Designing
Experience of PLM solution specification, configuration, implementation and Integration frameworks
Demonstrable track record of successful delivery in a number of large-scale, high profile projects involving both business and IT components
Strong experience of project definition and planning, requirements gathering, analyzing and definition and process mapping
Thingworx knowledge
Knowledge on REST API
