We are currently seeking a Solution Architect-Banking to join our team in Delhi, Delhi (IN-DL), India (IN).
Summary of role:
• The successful candidate will be a valued member of the Customer Platform Design COE responsible for the oversight and design of appropriate and optimally thought-out technology solutions for the Customer Platform suite of applications. They will play a lead role in creating an appropriate functional and technical solution design to realise the business requirements, while enabling best in class customer experiences aligned to Bank’s digital ambitions.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Will be responsible for the technical design of solutions that under pin Bank’s Customer platform and integration into the wider technology eco system ensuring that consistent design is applied to all changes.
• Can engage with and influence key business & IT stakeholders in the definition of requirements and drive the design and implementation of appropriate technology solutions within our customer domain, and associated business platforms.
• Ensures that the technical solutions designed delivers on our business outcomes
• Ensures that the solutions we design are customer centric and the design aligns with Bank’s Technology Strategy, Enterprise Architecture principles and industry best practices.
• Can work with and motivate a team of IT specialist, providing technical guidance as appropriate on solutions that impact the customer domain and wider business platforms ensuring that consistent design patterns are applied to all changes.
• Can risk assess each design piece on the following metrics: Technical risk, technical debt, performance, security, scalability, fit for purpose.
• Will monitor/Checkpoint all designed change through to deployment and operate.
• Ensures all designs pass the appropriate checkpoints and approval stage gates.
• TOGAF certification would be an added advantage
You will need to show us that you can:
• Execute Solution and Technical architecture & design for a financial services organisation and evidence of an outcome based approach to architecture & design.
• A strong technology background with a proven track record in Application, Information and Infrastructure technologies and best-practices software design.
• Proven track record of Business Engagement and of being the link between business and technical communities.
• Proven ability to provide Technical direction to engineering teams.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to communicate technical issues and strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences; backed-up with strong interpersonal skills collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skill.
• Proven ability to provide technical guidance and assistance to colleagues and the strategic partner(s) as appropriate.
