Job Description
SDO in this position captures and leads the overall design of KTI software development environments and tooling in alignment with the long-term solution strategy and business needs. SDO owns the functional and non-functional design, includes defining and communicating the current as well as the target state for longer-term design.
SDO actively collaborates with multiple stakeholders in finding solutions for business needs and technical problems. SDO transforms innovation ideas, business, and technical requirements into finalized design, provides design guidance and input for solution implementation.
Software Development Environment and Tooling SDO is responsible for
Requirement management of KTI software development environments and tooling
Establishing and developing software development environments for KTI purposes with strong cyber security focus
Managing agreed software development tools and seeking actively for tool harmonization opportunities across KTI
Helping developers to focus on their actual work by ensuring proper management of their tools and allow sufficient level of freedom through virtual environments
Support engineers allowing them to focus on R&D rather than managing their own IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
Advanced understanding and ability to manage requirements and create design for virtual desktop and computing environments
Broad understanding of virtualization technologies and operating systems
Advanced understanding of computer networks and related cyber security aspects
Highly experienced in cyber security and constantly learning more.
Strong domain expertise in software development related tooling throughout the software development process and complex engineering environments.
Problem solving mindset, great cooperation skills, clear and proactive communication in multicultural environment
Understand and analyze cyber security related risks and ability to manage requirements to mitigate risk
Basic understanding of software license management and other compliance related practices. Ability to identify and assess compliance related risks proactively.
