AU is heavily investing in new -age technology to bring the best experience for its customers. We are currently building digital bank for businesses and looking for passionate Solution Architect who want to change the game on banking services for Businesses. This will be a very interesting, highly engaging role - you will effectively build the bank of the future. You will draw the vision, work with seasoned bankers, build with a highly capable engineering team and create impact on millions of customers of the bank. What will you be doing?
Solutions Development
• Responsible for creating technology solutions, and stage 0 costs, to meet business requirements, in line with Group IT Strategies and Architectures.
• Takes responsibility for ensuring that solutions adhere to architectural and quality standards and policies.
• Adding clarity to business requirements; challenges business requirements and demands to ensure high quality candidate solutions are created
• Able to rationalize between different solution options in a complex environment and define pros and cons based on a driving force from a commercial, operational and technology viewpoint.
• Thinks outside of the box to support the business in delivering its strategic objectives rather than just responding to a pre-defined request,
• Works with project managers to advise on supplier and cost options, to ensure that the validity of the overall, also in the creation and evaluation of proof-of-concept solutions
• Working with the relevant project manager and Lead Solutions Architect, responsible for ensuring that the outcomes delivered by projects are consistent with the original solution specified. This will be achieved by reviewing project design artefacts (e.g. Stage 1) and the impact of significant change requests.
Advice and Guidance:-
• Provide advice and guidance to business stakeholders in shaping the portfolio of technology solutions to be provided to the business
• Contribute to broader architectural governance activities by participating in peer reviews for other solutioners. Form part of broader solutioning community in organization for advice and guidance.
• Maintain detailed awareness of, takes fully into account as necessary, and promotes throughout the organization, any relevant statutory, internal or external regulations, standards and codes of good practice. Is capable of contributing to the definition of such regulations, standards and codes.
• Actively contributes to the development and promotion of IT Solutions.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and some informal task-based supervision of less experienced solutions designers.
Delivery:-
• Promote and drive innovation by actively advocating new tools, processes and technical developments to drive continuous development, you should be up to date with current industry approaches and strategies.
• Provide Technical leadership across technology choices and best practices.
• Support development of components from UI to back end using modern languages and techniques.
• Support creation and maintenance of deployment tooling and automation to support the CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with team members on best practices.
• Promoting effective cloud-based approaches.
• Embrace agile methodologies
