Bristol - Sophos Firewall & Network Support (12-Month Contract)
£300 p/d Inside IR35 (paid through an umbrella company) - we have a limited budget which we have to work in for this one but you can be fully remote apart from a few days onsite in Bristol initially.
We’re seeking a skilled Sophos Firewall Specialist to step in and manage our clients firewall infrastructure for a 12-month contract, this is a mixture of Sophos project and BAU work. The role involves managing Sophos appliances for network security (firewall) and web access control (proxy), centrally managed through Sophos Central across a distributed network. If you have expertise in managing and monitoring Sophos firewall appliances across distributed networks please apply now for more details.
It would help if you have current Security Clearance but we can put you through it as long as you are eligible.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and monitor Sophos firewall appliances, including web proxy functions.
• Configure and maintain appliances via Sophos Central.
• Handle daily service requests for firewall rules and web proxy settings.
• Provide incident and problem management for appliance availability issues.
