The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Talent Acquisition team is seeking a talented, customer-focused Sourcing Recruiter to join their team.

This position is for a 12 month fixed term period.

Key job responsibilities
Work closely with business in order to understand the roles and responsibilities, and utilise this information to develop effective recruiting strategies
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management, gauging candidates for cultural alignment and motivation
Ensure all sourcing channels are sufficiently utilised, including but not limited to employee referrals, internal CRM, career portals, job fairs
Be a subject matter expert on the talent market and offer ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range talent landscape
Implement new processes and fine-tune standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer
Ensure a data-driven approaches in achieving recruitment operational excellence
Ensure the ongoing education of hiring managers and interviewers on recruitment best practice and interview skills training

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of technical recruiting experience or similar, in fast paced environment
Experience managing and prioritising multiple searches, projects and stakeholder relationships
Creative sourcing capability with the ability to proactively network and establish active pipelines of external candidates
Exceptional communication, organisational, and negotiation skills, with a laser focus on delivering outstanding business results
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A customer-centric mindset and unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and cost-effective recruiting solutions
Strong consulting and teamwork skills, thriving as both a team leader and collaborative member
Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow among candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team
