Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage the day to day operations of the kitchen with a hands-on approach
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant
Provide high quality training, and support for back of house employees
Communicate with front of house employees
Banquet event management; execute functions with speed and efficiency
Excellent time management and people management skills
Manage food production and preparation
Uphold bill time standards; expedite when necessary
Ensure labour budgets are being met
Perform inventory checks
Ensure kitchen is held to the highest health and sanitation standards at all times
Continually look for ways to improve processes, procedures, and reduce costs
Required Skills:
Self-motivated, results driven, prefers to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Effective interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to make judgement calls independently
Outstanding team player with excellent work ethic
Experience & Education Required:
Several years’ experience in a kitchen environment, including some management experience
Experience working on a Food Truck, or excited to possibly learn
Administrative skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office software, POS systems, QSR an asset
Food Safe Certification
First Aid Level 1 – (an asset)

Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
