As a South Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic and flavorful dishes from the rich and diverse culinary traditions of South India. Your expertise in traditional South Indian cuisine, along with your creativity and attention to detail, will be crucial in ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide range of South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, chutneys, curries, and etc.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of traditional South Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients to ensure the authenticity and quality of the dishes.
- Create innovative and visually appealing presentations while maintaining the original flavors and essence of South Indian cuisine.
- Stay updated with the latest culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients related to South Indian cuisine, and incorporate them into the menu when appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as local health regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a South Indian Chef or a similar role in a restaurant or hotel.
- In-depth knowledge of South Indian culinary traditions, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Excellent taste and a keen eye for presentation and detail.
