Job Title: South Indian Cook / Kitchen Helper
Job Location: Thatha Patti Elders Foundation, 7/126A, Castle Garden Road, VKV Kumaraguru Nagar, Saravanampatti, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641035.
Job Type: Full-Time (With Stay - Free Food & Accommodation)
Job Summary:
Thatha Patti Elders Foundation is looking for a skilled and experienced South Indian Cook / Kitchen Helper to prepare pure vegetarian meals for our residents. The candidate should have experience in traditional South Indian vegetarian cooking and assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Gender: Male and Female candidates can apply.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in South Indian Veg Cooking is mandatory.
• Job Type: Full-time position only (No part-time/freelance).
• Language Skills: Basic Tamil speaking skills are preferred for communication.
Skills Required:
• Expertise in South Indian vegetarian recipes.
• Ability to handle kitchen operations independently.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
Salary and Benefits:
• Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹22,000 per month (based on experience).
• Stay: Free Food & Accommodation will be provided by the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare a variety of healthy South Indian vegetarian dishes (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks).
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times.
• Assist in kitchen operations like cutting, chopping, cleaning, serving, and dishwashing if required.
• Ensure timely preparation and serving of food.
• Manage the stock of kitchen essentials and inform management of replenishment.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Support in special event or festival food preparation as needed.
