SPA CONCIERGE, SPA & WELLNESS
3+ hours, 5 days per week
We’re looking for a Spa Concierge to join our iconic Spa & Wellness team.
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is London’s most iconic address. It’s another world; a world of oriental luxury and the most attentive service. A world that’s all about our guests.
As a Spa Concierge at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, you will be responsible for:
• Open SpaSoft system, go through notes, make sure all guests have updated details in terms of birthdays, anniversaries, prepare goodie bags accordingly for special occasions.
• Set up Spa boutique (refill product stock)
• Check-in procedure for guests: get them to fill out consultation form, offer them a herbal tea, take their shoes and replace with Spa slippers.
• Take guest on journey: tour of the Spa and relaxation area, how to prepare for treatment.
• Reservations: responding to calls and emails, recommending bookings, GLOWING (WhatsApp), sending email confirmations & sending prepayment links to guests. Based in separate office within the Spa when on Reservation shift to allow for better Reservations focus.
As a Spa Concierge, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 3+ hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning and afternoon shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
To be a successful Spa Concierge candidate, you have experience within a luxury Spa environment or reception experience and are passionate about service and exceeding guest expectations. You have an strong understanding of systems and IT technology, are a strong team player and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Previous Spa or Hotel experience in a 5 star environment is desirable but not essential.
