Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Spa Concierge & Reception Attendant for Mokara Spa
at the beautiful Interlocken Resort & Spa!

Omni Interlocken Resort & Spa is seeking a Spa Concierge and Front Desk Attendant to join our outstanding spa team! This vital role will work closely with the Spa Manager and Spa Leaders to ensure successful execution of all operations relating to Mokara Spa, resulting in high levels of guest satisfaction. This highly motivated individual will be responsible for providing world-class customer service and the ultimate spa experience for each of our guests.
We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who love contributing to a winning team. If you have spa front desk experience, we would love to speak with you about this role.
Salary for this position is (based on experience): $21.00/hour. Spa Concierge will also receive a portion of commission on the cost of spa treatments in the form of a guest service charge and a 10% retail commission on products sold to guests.
Full Time Associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off Accrual. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to *** or race.
Additional associate benefits offered include golf privileges, discounts at the spa and restaurants, discounted rates at other Omni properties, corporate discounts, continued education opportunities and more.
Responsibilities
• Book and confirm appointments, greet guests, provide tours, check-in, and check out guests.
• Provide complimentary beverage service to guests.
• Up-sell, cross-sell, and pre-sell services and products
• Relay with confidence both product and service benefits to guests.
• Assist guests in the retail area as needed.
• Folding, sorting, and stocking clean spa and pool linens as well as transporting dirty spa and pool linens to the laundry department for processing.
• Work closely with Spa Manager to communicate spa goals & objectives, policies and procedures, prices, and relevant information to staff.
• Resolve all guest challenges in a timely manner and alert management of the situation.
• Ensure retail display inventory levels are accurate and shelves are dust-free.
• Ability to open, close, and work closely with cash handling procedures.
• Assist with the closing of all retail sales at the front desk.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of pool area and fitness center
• Maintain an accurate shift log so that any noteworthy items needed to be known by a following shift or management are noted.
• Assist team and managers with miscellaneous duties.
• Ability to set up, break down and maintain beverage bars in lounges and fitness facility.
• Assist with locker room maintenance and restocking /filling locker room products.
• Maintain Locker room sanitation and cleanliness, including cleaning, stocking, and disinfecting all guest areas and spa items.
• Assist with pool attendant duties when one is not present and checking guests in at the pool as needed.
Qualifications
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Self-motivated
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Minimum 1-year of experience working with answering phones in a customer orientated environment - spa or salon experience preferred
• Demonstrate pleasant and appropriate phone etiquette
• Excellent listening and verbal skills
• Computer literate
• Team player
• Responsible, dependable
• High personal standards and values
• Exeptional guest service and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure without letting that pressure show to the guest
• Flexible and cooperative with a willingness to assist where needed.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, carry up to 50lbs without assistance
• Ability to stand, move, bend, sit throughout the entire shift.
