Alamanda Palm Cove Spa team is currently seeking a Spa Therapist to join our guest focused team.

Casual Temp position

About The Role:

An amazing and rare opportunity for an experienced, passionate and professional Spa Therapist to join our team.

Conduct Spa treatments, in the allocated time frame and standard specified

Ensure all treatments are performed in a consistent manner in the time allocated and to the standard required

Ensure employee etiquette standards are adhered to

Monitor stock levels on an ongoing basis and advise the Spa Manager/Supervisor of any product levels that are running low to ensure stock is ordered and received before running out

Ensure your own personal hygiene and grooming standards are to the required standard

Follow the correct cleaning procedures of the workplace including the allocated treatment room/s and the spa

kitchen

Report maintenance issues to the Spa Manager/Supervisor to follow up with the maintenance officer

Assist in opening and closing duties of the spa where required

Deliver the ultimate spa experience to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.

Maximize up-selling and retailing opportunities for every guest.

As a Spa Therapist you will have a 'can do' attitude and understand what it takes to achieve the best results and provide an unforgettable experience for your clientele.

Be an ambassador for the hotel.

About You:

Hold a diploma of spa therapy.

Strong commitment to quality.

A confident retailer.

Excellent grooming and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and pro-actively under pressure.

Organizes time and work efficiently.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

A genuine, happy and optimistic person with a 'can do' attitude.

A commitment to being the best they can be through continuous improvement and learning.

Passionate about the spa, health and well-being industry.

The ability to work various rostered shifts, including weekends.

Last, but certainly not least, you should be values driven and is reliable, energetic, and wants a career in the Spa Industry.
