Our talented toddler assistant will have the following qualifications:
Bilingual teacher in Spanish and English mandatory.
Understand and promote the school’s mission and core values
Has a passion for teaching children
Instill a lifelong love for learning within our children
Create innovative early learning curricula with visuals and hands- on experiences
Understand how to teach S.T.E.A.M. We are willing to train
Teach other subjects as trained
Instruct toddlers in developmentally appropriate activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth as trained
Use classroom management skills and patience to create a fun and safe learning environment.
Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
Facilitate and create opportunities for special events & extra- curricular activities
Create and maintain a clean and visually stimulating learning environment
Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress.
Partner with parents to provide the best care for their children based on unique socio-emotional, physical and educational needs.
Support center success by partnering with center staff to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement
Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
Learn, train and implement the technological platforms, curriculum and foundations of Park Schools Montessori program’s logistics and tools as you are trained and work with your lead teacher.
Two Year Old Teacher assistant Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering lessons designed to facilitate students' social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Encouraging self-expression through understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement.
Tending to students' basic needs by feeding and dressing them.
Mediating conflict between students.
Modelling appropriate behaviors, even when not on duty.
Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning at all times.
Tracking and informing the lead teacher of students' progress.
Behavior management skills
Two Year Old Teacher Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience working with young children, preferably within a similar setting.
Basic first aid training is advantageous.
Physically fit and able to lift up to 70 pounds.
Warm, approachable disposition.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
A passion for early childhood development.
