Job Description
We are looking for a great home care office assistant to help in our College Park office. This person must have HR, People management, billing, Client relation experience. This role will assist in:
Essential Functions of Position:
• Assist in recruiting activities for Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nurses Assistants, and various other positions.
• Process authorization for clients on time and accurately.
• Responsible for the full life cycle of client activities in the Medicaid system.
• Follow up on all medical records from the doctor offices.
• Maintain all required and appropriate documents for client files.
• Act as a backup for PCA/CNA, as needed.
• Assists with billing functions, including gathering timesheets for all staff.
• Assists with maintaining all required and appropriate Employee and Client files.
• Assist with following up on all medical records from doctors offices.
• Responsible for all duties relating to office operations including: facilitating communication within the Employees by answering phones, relaying messages, transferring calls, conflict resolutions, etc.
• Responsible for filing and general assistance according to policy and procedures and in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team setting as well as independently with minimum supervisions.
• Assist in other duties as requested by your manager.
Qualifications:
• Relevant: 1 year (Preferred).
• Home health: 2 years (Preferred).
• Exhibit professional verbal and written communications.
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks and to assign priorities to those tasks.
• Spanish Speaking (Preferred).
• Current Negative TB Test/Chest X-Ray.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must pass background checks.
• At least one year of home health experience.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have Georgia Pediatric Program knowledge.
• Must have home health experience.
• Pediatric Experience is needed.
• Bilingual (Preferred).

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.
