Job Description
We are currently hiring Special Education Itinerant Teachers (SEIT) for our NYC Department of Education Preschool Contract Program.
You will have the opportunity to customize a convenient caseload at a single location or closely located schools with minimal travel necessary.
This may be a great option for you if you are looking to complement your current caseload or switch fully into providing SEIT services at preschools.
We have many options of full and part-time caseloads available for qualified teachers in Private, Public and Charter schools located throughout all regions of NYC.

Responsibilities
Provide services in school-based settings and work with a diverse client caseload.
Monitor and track progress on IEP goal(s).
Develop and maintain a complete, accurate and current record with all required documents and data.
Deliver in-person services effectively.
Develop creative goal plans aimed at improving overall well-being.
Have excellent organizational skills.

Requirements
BA/MA/MS and New York State Certification in either:
Special Education Permanent Certificate
Students with Disabilities, Birth to Grade 2
Cannot be a current NYC DOE Employee but can be considered if 1 yr 1 day out.
