Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Educational Director / Special Education Teacher to lead and oversee the educational programming within our ABA center. This role blends instructional leadership, special education expertise, and collaboration with clinical ABA staff to ensure high-quality, individualized learning experiences for our students.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee individualized educational programs aligned with IFSP goals
Provide direct instruction using evidence-based special education strategies
Collaborate closely with therapists, and families
Supervise and mentor instructional staff and classroom teams
Ensure compliance with state education regulations and special education requirements
Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation
Lead staff trainings and support ongoing professional development
Serve as an educational liaison with school districts and outside agencies as needed
Qualifications
Valid Special Education Teaching Certification : NY - Students with Disabilities (Birth - Grade 2)
Master’s degree in Special Education, Education, or related field preferred
Experience working with students with autism and developmental disabilities
Knowledge of ABA principles and ability to collaborate in a clinical setting
Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and student-centered practices
