Special Education Teacher

Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a committed Special Education Teacher to join our team in Denver, CO for the 2026 - 2026 school year (only until October) with the possibility to extend. The qualified Special Education Teacher will act as the patients' partner throughout their daily tasks and assist patients to function at their personal best. Experienced and new-grad Special Education Teachers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities of a Special Education Teacher

:• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs

.• Plan and implement tailored instructional strategies for diverse learners

.• Provide direct instruction in inclusive or specialized settings

.• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student inclusion

.• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly

.• Offer behavioral support and social skill development

.• Coordinate resources and services for students and families

.• Engage in professional development to stay updated on best practices

.• Ensure legal compliance with special education laws and regulations

.• Advocate for the rights and inclusion of students with disabilities
