Swavlamban Foundation, a renowned organization operating a special school in Pali, Rajasthan, is currently looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

As a Special Education Teacher at Swavlamban Foundation, your responsibilities will include:
• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Delivering high-quality instruction using effective teaching strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care and support for students.
• Assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and adapting instructional methods accordingly.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and growth.
• Establishing and maintaining open communication with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
• Organizing and participating in professional development activities to stay updated with best practices in special education.
• Contributing to the planning and coordination of special events, extracurricular activities, and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you should meet the following qualifications:
• Completion of a diploma, B.Ed., or any other course in special education affiliated with the Rehabilitation Council of India.
• Proven experience working as a Special Education Teacher or Educator in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of special education principles, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Well-organized, with strong administrative skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
