Job Description
Salaam Baalak Trust has been dedicated to working with street and working children since 1+88. Each year, SBT reaches over 10,000 children through its various programs, which include shelter, medical facilities, education, repatriation, and rehabilitation. The Trust operates three shelter homes and four children's homes (two for boys and two for girls), along with nine daycare centers.
In 2003, SBT established a formal and comprehensive Mental Health Program (MHP) under the guidance of psychiatrist Dr. Amit Sen. The MHP team comprises qualified counseling psychologists who work to build rapport with children and address their psychological needs.
The trust needs one special educator for children with learning difficulty/disability.
1. Special educator – Specialized in neurodevelopmental disabilities.
Educational Qualification: B.Ed in Special Education (Neurodevelopmental Disabilities), with a preferred background in Psychology.
Experience: At least two years working experience.
Job location: 3 days a week at Aasra Children Home for Boys in Najafgarh, Delhi, and 3 days a week at DMRC Children Home in Tis Hazari, Delhi.
