About Company:
Little Pods is an organization focussed on providing a variety of services for children with special needs in a distinctive way. Keeping in mind the individual differences in each child, our trained professionals aim to thoroughly understand the child and help him/her inculcate skills for independent functioning.
Our interventions and strategies are formulated based on the needs of the child while keeping in mind the needs of the school and parents or caregivers. The interventions are introduced in a manner that child is comfortable with. We focus on improving the child's strengths while modifying his/her weaknesses. We follow a goal-directed approach to help the child gain various skills and teach him/her methods to cope with various difficulties. We also believe in training the individuals prominently involved in the child's life (parents, teachers, caregivers, etc) to ensure the child's needs are taken care of in a productive and effective manner.
About the Internship:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conducting independent sessions
2. Supporting the child in academic areas and help him/her come at par with the class in the best possible way
3. Developing, planning and hone social and behaviour skills appropriate to age and school set up
4. Integrating the child in the social environment with appropriate communication skills
5. Maintaining a formal channel of communication between the school and parents in academic and non-academic area selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for the part time job/internship
2. can start the part time job/internship between 24th Mar'23 and 28th Apr'23
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. are from or open to relocate to Mumbai and neighboring cities
5. have relevant skills and interests
