HammondCare Home Care is currently looking for Carers to join our team in the Western Sydney Region on a Permanent Part time basis. Monday to Fridays
Areas we currently need to cover are Wentworthville, Granville, Winston Hills, Dural, Parramatta and surrounding suburbs.
The care work you'll be doing may include:
Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressing
Helping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning
Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
Assisting with medication
Being female is recognised as a genuine occupation qualification and is authorised under section 31(2h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, and so we ask that only Female applicants apply.
In return for your expertise, we offer:
$31.95 to $35.44 per hour plus 99c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone provided
full training to all care workers (no experience is necessary)
salary packaging (for PPT only): $15,900 annually for living expenses, plus up to $2,650 each year for entertainment benefits
additional training and career development opportunities
leave benefits (purchased additional annual leave)
reward and recognition program
fitness passports: full facility access can include gyms, group classes and pools for yourself and your family
counselling services and wellbeing resources through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for all employees

About you
you’re a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused
you have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care
you have a valid Driver’s Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance) & are comfortable driving around your local area
ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help
you'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
