What you’ll be doing…

As a Specialist Advisor in Airline Operations Technology, you’ll support the ongoing improvement of sytems and processes across Flight Operations, Safety Systems and Operations Support.

Working closely with both operational and technology teams, you’ll help investigate issues, gather requirements and contribute to delivering system enhancements that improve how our airline operates day to day.

This role blends business analysis and delivery support, giving you the opportunity to build your experience while working on meaningful, real-world operational challenges.

You’ll play a key role in connecting stakeholders, supporting outcomes and helping ensure our systems are efficient, practical and aligned to business needs.

Reporting to the Business System Manager, Airline Operations, this role is based at our Brisbane Head Office.

Key responsibilities

Support investigation and resolution of system and process issues
Assist with business analysis activities including requirements gathering and process mapping
Act as a key point of contact between operational stakeholders and Technology teams
Build strong, trusted relationships and help manage stakeholder expectations
Support the coordination and delivery of system enhancements and operational improvements
Provide input into process improvements and help identify practical solutions
Confidently communicate priorities, trade-offs and constraints, including saying no when required
Partner with leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability on outcomes
Maintain positive working relationships with vendors and technology partners
Contribute to a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and shared learning

Strong communication skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge and manage expectations
A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to take ownership and follow through

Experience gathering requirements, mapping processes or supporting delivery activities
Ability to build relationships and work effectively across different teams and levels
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Experience in aviation or airline operations is desirable but not essential
