Job Description
We are looking for an experienced QA tester to script and test the code for an enterprise class n-tier financial system. The candidate should be well versed in Visual Studio with C# scripting along with experience in automation tools like Selenium, RestSharp, Postman etc. Candidate is also expected to have good exposure to any Performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter etc. We have an agile-based team that values innovation, creativity and collaboration. We are forward thinking, use the latest tools, and have a strong team focused on getting great software out the door quickly.
Job Requirement
Skills Required
• 5 – 7 years of experience in Software testing and Quality assurance in a professional capacity
• Should be able to communicate with Product Owners and Clients.
• Hands on with Performance Testing Automation (API/UI) using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter etc.
• Hands on experience in Visual Studio with C# scripting is a must
• Strong experience in Automated testing of Enterprise Class and Financial application and web portals using tools like Selenium WebDriver & Hands-on with Automation framework development
• Experienced in API Testing using RestSharp or Postman.
• Strong Knowledge/Experience in writing SQL queries.
• Should be a self-driven engineer with desire to use practical and professional concepts in QA along with application of QA standards and procedures to resolve routine issues.
• Experience of dealing with remote teams in diverse geographies
• Should be able to write use cases based on product requirements, execute them and report issues in bug tracking system.
• Knowledge of AWS /Cloud would be a plus
• Knowledge of Kafka including setting up and managing Kafka Clusters would be a plus
• Use of Jira and GitHub an advantage.
Advantageous Skills
• Good to have knowledge on asset coverage (Equities, FX, Options, Other fixed income products)
• Good to have knowledge on OMS, EMS, Risk management systems, portfolio management systems and Securities master information
• Web security testing experience is a plus
• Experience on DEVOPS an added advantage
Academic Requirements
• BE in Computer Science, MCA degree or equivalent education
