SALARY: £29,460

HOURS : Full-time

WORKING PATTERN : Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Business Banking Relationship Team. We provide outstanding support for businesses through providing a proactive relationship model, and we're passionate about looking after our clients. Our aim is to deepen relationships with Business Banking clients through a pooled RM model, supporting Business and Commercial Banking ambitions to become the best bank for businesses.

Our Specialist Business Associates (SBA) have a key part to play as we extend our relationship model to more clients in Business Banking. Working as a team to manage inbound and outbound contact with clients, SBAs help businesses to support their ambitions, referring to Specialist Business Managers (SBM) for more complex needs. You'll be responsible for delivering a first-class experience to our clients ensuring we retain business, rebuild trust, support their business ambitions and proactively offer support through bringing the whole bank to clients, whilst maintaining strong risk disciplines. SBAs will be operating in one team, with each colleague aligned to one pool of SBMs – allowing consistency with your peers, as well as close working with the SBMs you support.

What will you be doing?

Proactively contact BB clients to build relationships and support their needs, referring to the Specialist Business Managers for their more complex needs

Manage inbound client contact for your pool of SBMs, via dedicated shared mailbox and other channels which can maximise client experience to be introduced, including telephony and web-chat.

Seeing opportunity to support client needs including lending through term loans, Asset Finance; working capital solutions such as Invoice Finance, overdrafts, credit cards; and other products such as merchant service and EBI.

You'll be an ambassador for change, an early adopter of tools designed to improve the client and colleague experience and support your wider team and function to work towards their goals.

What You’ll Need

Excellent professional standards, including verbal and written communication skills. This will enable you to build strong relationships over the course of a phone call or Teams meeting, with clients and internal stakeholders.

Proactive and driven mindset, a willingness to try new things and adapt your style to succeed.

Highly organised, and able to manage multiple tasks at the same time, speaking to clients, following up on queries and actions, and proactively managing your diary to maximise client speaking time.

Passion for supporting small UK businesses, with a curiosity about their business ambitions and challenges.

Results focused – You'll take personal responsibility for delivering results, whilst readily accepting change and focussing on client outcomes
