Key Skills: Azure / AWS cloud.
As a Specialist Cloud SRE , your primary role will be to provide Migration Details, Solution SRE, Consulting & Implementation Services for our customers. This technical consultant role will work in partnership with customers and advising them on how to use Azure services to meet their business objectives or overcome problems.
This role requires responsibilities such as:
• Assist customers in their journey to cloud and be the cloud enabler
• Working with customers to determine requirements and to define the scope of a project
• Design solutions / SRE to meet unique needs of the customer
• Developing and deploying solutions (example: Azure Landing Zone)
• Managing and supporting deployed solutions
Experience
The ideal candidate for this role would require working knowledge and skills in the following technical areas:
• At least + years of experience in IT with at least 4 years of recent experience in Azure
• Networking concepts (Virtual networks, Subnets, VPNs, Network Security Groups, Peering etc.)
• RTO (High availability, Load Balancing, Azure Availability Sets, Regions / Availability Zones, Scale Sets)
• RPO (Azure backup, Azure Site Recovery etc.)
• Cloud Security (SIEM, Azure Active Directory, SSO, End-point security etc.)
• Various industry compliance standards (NIST, HIPAA, PCI, SOX etc.)
• Observability (Azure App Insights, Activity log, Azure Monitor etc.)
• Cost optimization strategies
• Containers services on on-prem / AWS / Azure
• Ability to develop the solution using Infrastructure-as-a-code (Ansible, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager Templates etc.)
• Certifications required:
• Azure Solutions Architect
• AWS Solutions Architect – Associate level
Education/Certifications
• A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline is preferred
