About the Role
We are currently looking for a Communications Technicians to join our Operational Technology Team at Prominent Hill. Reporting to our Technology Operations Supervisor this role will be responsible to provide operational support by maintaining plant, equipment and infrastructure in compliance with the weekly work schedule in our underground mining and surface environments.

This role is an 8 days on, 6 days off roster arrangement FIFO from Adelaide.

Main job responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Completing planned and unplanned work activities on Operational Technology Systems
Supporting other Technology team members with technical support
Identification and implementation of improvement initiatives
Pursuing operating perfection in work practices and approach
Reporting of events, work requirements and hazards in a timely and accurate manner
Updating events and work requests with an accurate scope of work, to support effective planning of work
About You
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:

Cert III in Telecommunications, or equivalent Technology/heavy industry experience.
Equipment Experience / Exposure to
Digital radio systems
Fibre networks
CCTV systems
Wi-Fi management
IP Networks
