Information & Cyber Security (ICS) is a critical function within Standard Chartered Bank operating under the overall purview of "Technology Services".
The ICS-CST team is made up of cyber security thought leaders, who are accountable for the provision of a global set of cyber security services and products to maintain and continuously improve Bank's cyber security posture in today's ever evolving cyber security landscape.
ICS-CST, is a transversal service with a primary objective to provide Production Support Services and managing Security Practise Optimization and Enhancement for all CSS owned products and services. The Security Practise Optimization and Enhancement function, part of ICS-CST, requires an experienced leader to setup, run and govern the mandatory controls pre-defined, which includes optimizing and enhancing security practices competence through driving service improvements and automation covering areas such as Product Engineering, Project Onboarding, Vendor Management & ICS-CST internal affairs
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Performing requirements analysis.
• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
• Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
• Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
• Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Test business processes and recommend improvements
• Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
• Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
• Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
• Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
• Managing competing resources and priorities.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

• Support Leads with in Security Production Support
• Other relevant functions with Technology Services including Infrastructure Services ( Database, Network & Platform )
Our Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
• Have minimum technical and functional knowledge of the security products, tools and services/capabilities
• Have good understanding of ITIL practices and ITSM tools
• Has excellent track record in running complex platform support environment (either database, network, data centre)
• Has good understanding into infrastructure components including databases (Oracle, SQL), network, data centre, firewall, proxy, Operating System (Windows and LINUX)
• System administrative skills
Role Specific Competencies
• Has good understanding of CMDB – Configuration Management Database handling.
• Have independently led and governed the on-boarding controls (non-functional) prior to operationalising the system or managing 'proceed to operate' for non-functional controls
• Has supported Change Management and Incident Management functions
• Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to multi-task
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work well with cross-organizational teams
• Strong analytical and quantitative skill
• Strong leader, who inspires and cultivates strong partnership with clients and internal partners
• Strong managerial, influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to develop strategies aligning with business goals
• Experience with enterprise data centre design, DevOps, and Cloud Computing
• Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organisation's goal. Is confident and will roll-up his/her sleeves to drive successExceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
