We're seeking a future team member for the role of Technical Business Analyst, Data Governance to join our Enterprise Data Management team.
This role is in Pune, India on a hybrid working basis.
Enterprise Data Management is focused on implementing enterprise data & governance, delivering the firm's master data strategy, driving holistic access to data via our Lake, and enabling the business to deliver advanced outcomes for ourselves and our customers using AI/ML techniques.
In this role, you will:
• Work on some of the most complex and interesting problems at the intersection of two dynamic Industries Finance and Technology
• Develop products that can change the way our stakeholders operate, and how Banking is done today and ensure that we have regulatory compliance
• Interact with other high-performing teams within BNY Mellon to inspire innovation and champion change throughout the bank
• Establish large and fascinating data domains currently not available anywhere else To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
• Ownership thinking with an attention to detail, strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with data implementations, from concept to post implementation
• Strong stakeholder management and people skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and delivery expectations
• Experience with complex data structures and ingestion methodologies to curate data
• Team player yet has ability to act on their own initiative, creating opportunities for improvement Required:
• You have strong analytical and time management skills with the ability to independently own and complete time sensitive tasks, with a demonstrable track record of high-performance
• Experience in organizing, researching, and analyzing stakeholder needs. You bridge the technical and business worlds, ensuring build and delivery of high-quality work products with urgency
• Experience in business analysis, user research, change management, project management planning and reporting
• Strong experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Worked in Agile environment and played an active role in scrums such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and sprint demo. Adept in supporting backlog prioritization to define sprint goals and enable iterative deliveries.
• A working knowledge of data governance frameworks, best practices and how they are effectively supported by good products, in particular Metadata Management, Data Lineage but also data quality, data privacy, data use and records retention
• Awareness and interest in core areas of applied machine learning such as NLP, computer vision, and personalization
• Experience working with products that harness large data sets
• You are a team player and can roll your sleeves up when you need to
• Ability to navigate a matrix organization and the ability to influence peers by articulating the product offering and value to stakeholders
• You are a self-starter, with the curiosity, energy, drive and willingness to seek out and learn new skills to improve what you bring to the team
• A natural problem solver, you can think out of the box to overcome complex problems
Desirable:
• Bachelor's degree (preferably Computer Science)
• Hands on Experience working with Solidatus, Collibra, Collibra DQ, PowerBI, Alteryx
• Product/project management certification
