Job description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic registered children’s nurse for 30 hours/0.80 wte with excellent communication skills and good organisational skills to join our Community Paediatric Service, part of Manchester Children’s Community Health Services within Manchester Local Care Organisation (MLCO).
This role will involve working across two services: firstly, you will work one day per week within Community Paediatrics in community settings, and secondly, in your role as specialist nurse for autism you will support the multi-disciplinary Social Communication Pathway (SCP). As part of this innovative service, you will work in conjunction with the paediatricians for Central and North Manchester to support autism assessments and provide post-diagnostic support to children and families, as well as contributing to multi-agency liaison with other members of the Social Communication Pathway.
You will be part of a forward thinking and friendly team and you will be supported and encouraged to develop professionally.
